The past month in Canada has been a trip. It's definitely fall now, beautiful, and I wonder what -40 will feel like this winter with the wind whipping in over the prairie. I've found that queuing up is as much of a sport here as curling, and many businesses keep their out doors locked for some reason. Merging seems to be a foreign concept, only most of the foreigners here don't seem to get it. And you just don't eat at chain restaurants if you like food with flavour. It's a little odd living in another country that's so different in some ways, but ultimately not that far from "home" in others.
Tomorrow is our one month anniversary. Love you, D! I do miss my friends, but I'm looking forward to sharing what I'm up to with you all here.
